Raj has over 40 years of experience as a doer-manager, entrepreneur, advisor and mentor. This has given him exposure across functional areas, across industries and across countries. In his current role, Raj serves as – Chairman: Avalon Consulting, Avalon Global Research and Germinait Solutions Pvt Ltd. As a strategy consultant, Raj has helped companies across diverse industries in India, USA, Europe, and the Middle East to develop strategies, align strategy to vision, grow in competitive markets, restructure to make companies more customer focused etc. After working in consumer durables marketing at Murphy and later as a Merchant Banker with Grindlays Bank for 6 years, he set up a Marketing Research and Advisory firm and followed that up with a Management Consulting company. He thereafter, co-founded a very successful Analytics company in 2000. In 2008, seeing the opportunity in text analytics with the advent of Social Media, he founded a technology company that would create IT products that help analyse what people are saying in the digital world. Raj is an Engineering graduate from IIT, Bombay and a Post-Graduate in Business Management, from IIM, Ahmedabad. He also holds a degree in General Law from the University of Mumbai.

He has provided and helped implement solutions in areas of business strategy, performance improvement, supply chain optimisation, partner identification and sales & marketing. Sridhar also has significant experience in franchising model development and management, having developed and implemented growth strategies through franchising across a range of industries. Sridhar has also done extensive work evaluating the relative economics of businesses across the two hottest emerging markets – India and China – for a number of Indian and International entities. He was part of the CII Task Force on China, constituted to develop the China engagement strategy and lead the development of a report which was the basis of a number of actions at a policy level from India. He is a regular speaker at various conferences organised by CII, ACMA and other National and Industry Level Associations and serves on the Board of listed and unlisted companies as an Independent Director

Sridhar holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the Mumbai University and an MBA from one of India’s leading business schools, Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai.

He is a partner in our Chemical sector practice, where he has successfully led multiple engagements ranging from entry, diversification and growth strategies to due-diligence work for mergers and acquisition across commodity, specialty, fine and green chemicals for clients involving MNCs, chemical companies as well as PE firms and Family Offices.

He is also a partner in Automotive sector practice, where he has worked on a range of projects encompassing corporate strategy, new product introduction strategy, aftermarket strategy, customer experience management, network planning etc. with leading Auto OEMs, Auto component manufacturers(Tier 1 and Tier 2), multi-brand independent service networks, dealerships, industry associations.

Santosh has over 20 years’ corporate experience, and has been a strategy consultant since 2006. He has advised clients in a wide range of sectors including agribusiness, consumer, retail, chemicals, automotive and private equity across various emerging markets including India, Middle East, South East Asia, East Africa and China.

Prior to Consulting, Santosh has spent about six years with leading Indian FMCG companies – Amul and CavinKare. In his roles as Product Manager and Sales Manager in these companies, Santosh has handled national and regional brands, and has been involved in multiple new product development & launches.

Santosh holds a PGPX in General Management from the UCLA Anderson School of Management, and a PGDRM (MBA) from the Institute of Rural Management, Anand (IRMA). He is also a Chevening Fellow in Leadership & Excellence from the University of Oxford.

Santosh is proficient in English, Hindi and Malayalam, and is a learner of Tamil and Bengali. Santosh is based in Mumbai, where he is actively involved with the IMC Chamber of Commerce as a member of the Agribusiness Committee.

Girija Pande is the Advisor of Apex Avalon Consulting Singapore, a Singapore based company that provides Management Consulting and Business Research to businesses in the fast growing Asia Pacific (APAC) market. Mr. Pande is ex-President of Tata Consultancy Services (TCS)Asia Pacific, a part of India’s largest business conglomerate.He also Chairs the Asia Board of Advisors of Chain i Q Ltd,Zurich – a global sourcing and procurement firm.

Mr Pande has over three decades of experience in senior positions in Banking and Financial Services with a Citibank affiliate and subsequently ANZ Banking Group, and in IT with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) Ltd. TCS is a global Tech giant valued at over $100 bn with over 400,000 FTE. Mr Pande set up TCS-APAC and under his Chairmanship the company grew to 11,000 associates in 14 countries. Mr. Pande was also Vice Chairman of TCS’ joint-venture with the Chinese Government, and was instrumental in building the business to over 2,500 associates in six cities in China.

He was council member for the Singapore Government’s high powered Manpower Council set up by the Infocom Development Authority and served on the Advisory Board of Singapore Management University, NTU Business School and National Council of Social Services in Singapore. He currently serves on Boards of Global Technology Companies, National Healthcare Group,SingaporeInternational Chamber of Commerce, Institute of South Asian Studies—part of NUS and serves as a Trustee of SINDA

Awards: He recently was awarded Public Service Medal by the Goverment of Singapore on National Day. He has received the best CEO Award from Singapore HR Institute and two Social Services Award by Ministry of Social & Family Development. He was conferred “The Distinguished Alumnus Award” in 2019 by Pan IIM Alumni in Singapore.

Mr. Pande holds an engineering degree and an MBA from India’s prestigious business school, Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad. He has extensive experience throughout Asia, as he held senior postings in Korea, Hong Kong, Bahrain and India. He was the Executive Chairman of the ANZ Grindlays Asset Management Company in India, and has served on the Advisory Boards of PE Funds focused on India / Technology.

Mr. Pande is well known among business circles in Singapore, India and Asia and has wide ranging contacts in these countries. He has been a speaker at the World Economic Forum in China and speaks on business and technology forums in Asia. He is frequently interviewed on International TV Channels like CNBC, Bloomberg and the international press for his views on Asian and global business trends. He has co-authored a successful book on building business in China and India ‘The Silk Road Rediscovered‘ published by John Wiley.
