Stockholm:
Abhimanyu Roy from Avalon Consulting was part of the CII Business Delegation to Norway and Sweden between 22-25 April 2014. The delegation participated in two events:
- India-Norway B2B event held in Oslo on 22nd April (organised by Norway India Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Confederation of Norwegian Enterprise and CII)
- India Unlimited – a business and cultural event held between 23rd-25th April in Stockholm (organised by Indian Embassy in Sweden)
Abhimanyu made a presentation on a study undertaken by Avalon Consulting on behalf of CII –“Accelerating Economic Engagement between India and Nordic Region”. The report was formally released at the above events.
The study highlights the immense potential for future growth in trade and investments between the two regions. It identifies specific challenges being faced by exporters and investors from both regions. It further highlightsthe priority products for increased trade between the two regions and priority sectors for increased collaboration / investments. Finally, it also presents an Engagement Plan with actions required by various stakeholders (industry and government) for realising the opportunity potential.
Parag Risbud from Avalon Consulting also presented the findings of the report at the CII Pune event held in April 2014.
