Avalon Consulting hosted Sudhanshu Latad, The Humsafar Trust (HST) for an informative and interactive session on LGBTQ+ sensitization, as part of the Pride month celebrations.
The session focused on LGBTQ+ terminologies and inclusion and aimed to foster empathetic attitude and sensitivity towards LGBTQ communities. It also provided us with factual and unbiased information on LGBTQ+ terminologies and different gender identities. We were made aware about the challenges faced by vulnerable communities (mental health, social pressure) and reasons for vulnerability.
