Subhabrata Sengupta, Executive Director at Avalon Consulting, expressed his perspective on the adoption of Euro norms in India.
Subhabrata suggested that if the government intends to implement Euro 7, it should promptly establish Bharat 7 as an equivalent standard and provide a clear 4–5-year roadmap for the industry to transition. Failure to do so may hinder technology development and lead to expensive solutions from global players. Effective management is crucial for successful change, he added.
